End of April Recap

The end of April has been all about riding and racing with CFF athletes. Some like to stay anonymous, so I will continue to provide recaps without naming names unless I have the client's permission to do so. Just a few of the highlights here:
4/27 WCA Muskego Park Criterium Race had a couple of CFF athletes braving the weather with 1 scoring 7th place overall, 3rd in his age group.
I rode with a client and then proceeded with a Bike Fit. You can read more about his experience: http://blog.mountainoutfittersracing.com/2009/04/27/fortyfive--degrees-and-100-chance-of-rain-lets-go-for-a-ride.aspx
4/26 ABR 20K Bong TT with Michael proving again that even with some challenging circumstances, race results can still be surprisingly good. Michael and I had our personal bests for average MPH. I should be getting some $. Challenging circumstances for me included: moderate rain, parking lot crash prior to race start, poor shifting because of the.., a lost Power Meter CPU (making this "Race of Truth" gaged by feel versus HR or Watts), and a few other issues not worth mentioning. I'm confident that my results were due to added motivation by catching and passing the riders in front of me. Just kept pressing forward through the relentless water spray.
Michael's results were just as exciting. He's dropped "a turkey and a half" in body weight (his description) and increased his Power by close to 10%. TT speed roughly 2.5 MPH faster in 6 months! Dedication pays off!!
4/28 Levis/Trow Mtb with April proving once again that sometimes it truly is all about the ride (see picture). Trails were in great shape. Clocked in rides about 3 - 4 hours in duration. Awesome!

Wow, a turkey and a half! I'd be happy with just a couple of chickens!
