Jeff - it's super cool to read about stellar results across all disciplines - awesome. I could not be more pleased about 2010 on the triathlon/duathlon front: in addition to seeing drastic improvements (between 09-10) in every single event that I participated in, CFF has made me a much smarter rider who understands his strengths/weaknesses at a completely different level that the year prior. Thanks for the coaching, guidance and support...and for providing me the opportunity to win more awards in one year of racing than I did in 20 years as a solid tennis player!

Go with the tubies if you have your own mechanic to do the work. If you prefer riding to gluing go with the clinchers. The potential gains don't seem worth the hassle to me. The aura surrounding the tubies is all they have going for them to me.

If you are looking for simplicity, than you need to go with a clincher!
If you have the time (swapping tires and glueing) than go with tubbies.

The main reason I went with what I have (Easton EC90 Aero). #1. Price, I couldn't pass up the deal! #2. Road/Crit. race wheels ONLY!

Hope this helps!
